Guest guest
I have found that when I think I am getting a UTI or bladder infection I can usually avert it by drinking a couple of kidney busters. I learned this while working in the nursing homes. You take the biggest glass you have and half fill it with cranberry juice and half with ginger ale or 7 up and drink the whole thing, it usually takes 2. This flushes out the kidney, bladder and ureter. It is truly a miracle cure. the WV hillbilly

Guest guest
The cranberry juice breaks up the sugar crystals in your system - that's why it works to help clear up UTI's. I have had so many bladder/kidney infections over the years, my urologist has forbidden me to drink cranberry or citrus juices as they are hard on the kidneys. Just a fact to be aware of... Guest guest
Interesting, I drink my cranberry juice every morning. Isn't it interesting about the kidneys, I'll tell you, you can't win! Guest guest
Seems like no matter what the subject is nowadays you can't win! I figure it this way - I'm going to eat and drink what I like (and can tolerate), as much as I want. That means that I'm going to eat that chocolate twinkie if I want to! Guest guest
Sharon, can you tell me where you get it? One of my concerns is that there seems to be some variation in quality in mannose. I did try a few teaspoons shortly after I had the UTI and I don't think its my main problem (e coli) as it didn't really change my symptoms. I think there is fungal involement or something else. But I am willing to try it agian! I do take cranberry capsules every day. Anyway I gave away my mannose to a friend who was having actual recurrent e coli UTI's so I no longer have it. I don't remember the brand I got. DO you trust beyondacentury--or trust your brand more? Thanx. > Jill, > > I've been bothered by repeat UTIs for the past few years. DO you trust beyondacentury--or trust your brand more? Hi Jill, I get mine from Progressive Labs (they have a website but I never use it). Progressive carries products that Dr formulates, as well as many others. I think the Mannose from BAC should be just fine, though I have no real basis for saying that, I guess. I've noticed that many more of the supp companies are now selling it, so price comparisons should be easier. If you have an active infection, then Mannose can take up to 3 days to clear it. When I have that condition, I put a tsp of Mannose in some water and then I'll add 4-6 drops of Lugol's iodine and repeat that 4x a day until the infection clears. Either product alone should do the trick, but I've never been known for patience! If I feel that I might have enough iodine in my system, then I'll use the colloidal silver. It's the CS with Mannose that I try to remember to take once a day as a preventative. Progressive's Mannose caps have echinacea in them, along with another herb that I can't recall at the moment. I don't feel that this formula is any more effective than plain Mannose. I know that Donna Crow has used BAC's Mannose and was happy with the results. Guest guest
Thanx, why do you use the iodine? I made my own CS but I thik its best to take it on its own, I worry about mixing it with anything. > > > Jill, > > > > > > I've been bothered by repeat UTIs for the past few years. Guest guest
Beyond a Century worked great for my mom, who obviously had e coli. It didn't work for my dad. Junniper berries worked for him. Best in tea rather than caps. I have also heard of people having success with xylitol, when it is bacterial. For fungal the Juniper berries would work better. And are very inexpensive. Guest guest
Thx for all the wonderful info from everybody. I ordered the mannose because even if I don't have ecoli now its good to have around. And I ordered the SSKI from 's dispensary. And I have ozone. So all 3 should take care of any lingering infections. I hope, anyway! I'm also starting Desert Harvest whole-leaf aloe vera. I also have a healer working on me. Guest guest
My cancer is in the bladder (and by the way almost gone), and I have developed hematuria (bladder infection with blood in the urine) several times until I started taking two Olive Leaf Extract capsules a day. This was a matter of my taking all kinds of cancer fighting vitamins and supplements every day and drinking the liver and kidney teas in Dr. 's list of recipes and therefore my passing LOADS of stones and their rubbing the cancerous growth on their way out. There hasn't been a problem since I have started taking this capsule. I am told it is one of the strongest Antibiotics known, the advantages of it being that it will not mess with the digestive system and it is not habit forming. I have though safely and painlessly passed enough gravel to repave my driveway, and not everyone notices the tiny stones in the urine! I would though strongly consider a trip to a good urologist, either one not territorial enough to complain about the kidney tea, or one who is not told outright about it... Luigi Bladder Infections Hello All, My wife is just ending her third week of the kidney cleanse and has developed a bladder infection with bleeding. Yes, she was prone to these before, although not with as much blood. Is this unusual? Or have others experienced this? I appreciate any input. Guest guest
Luigi, I was just wondering if you have heard of, or experienced yourself the passing or dissolving of any other stones in the body. I have rheumatoid arthritis and I have several nodules in my fingers. I also have a salivary stone. Do you happen to know if the cleanse might effect those as well? --- Luigi Farina <luigif@...> wrote: > My cancer is in the bladder (and by the way almost > gone), and I have developed hematuria (bladder > infection with blood in the urine) several times > until I started taking two Olive Leaf Extract > capsules a day. Guest guest
To my knowledge all stones are either created by the body (to cover an offensive substance), or by parasites as they try and protect themselves from the body's immune system. I have in fact several cists in the knee area of my legs, and I was told that these are inhabited by parasites migrated from the intestines. I am quite sure that teas will help with nodules that contain parasites, so I would not stop those. I use Burdock Root tea among the rest to make my body poisonous to parasites. The idea is that when the parasite in the cist is dead, the body will eventually digest the nodule. And the liver and kidney teas and cleanses in Dr. 's recipe list are very good for the body as a whole. If instead these nodules are created by the body to try and " seal in " something nasty, like perhaps a heavy metal, you might want to consider using either DMSO or a chelation therapy of sorts. The latter choice is usually the safest if you want to keep your job: 20 drops a day of DMSO will make your skin give off a scent that will be objectionable to most around you, and no amount of deodorant soap or cheap perfume can cover it... That I know of cleanses do not have a direct effect on nodules in the joints. Guest guest
Thank you, Luigi, for your reply. My wife passed a good-sized kidney stone yesterday which was probably the problem, rather than a bladder infection--although that is what it orginally felt like. The stone would also account for the bleeding. Since she is prone to bladder infections, I will check into the Olive Leaf Extract. Hopefully though, now that she is doing the kidney cleanse, her bladder infections will stop. Thank you again, Warren > My cancer is in the bladder (and by the way almost gone), and I have developed hematuria (bladder infection with blood in the urine) several times until I started taking two Olive Leaf Extract capsules a day. Guest guest
For those of you who have infections, I use to have them before lyme. The cause was sexual relations. The Drs advised me to urinate after sex and I haven't had one since. It flushes out any bacteria that gets up into the bladder. I don't know if this is the cause of any of yours, but I did this and for over 20 yrs haven't had a bladder infection. [ ] bladder infections > Connieknwn, > Weren't you lucky, being asleep and all. Guest guest
Well, I wondered about that. Anyway I had the bladder problems, but they have gotten so much better. I agree lyme attacks where you are the weakest and mine is the allergy/sinus area. I found caffeine does irritate the bladder, but as I have gotten better so has my bladder. Occassional leak when laughing. I don't have a rife machine, but what I found works for me is some kind of physical work. I live on a farm and have a house/3kids to take care of, so I am busy. Guest guest
You can get relief from you bladder infections by using D-Mannose, it is inner leaf aloe. It comes in a powder that you take every day. IT blocks the receptor sites that the bacteria would normally attach to in the bladder and since they cannot stick to anything, you cannot get an infection. I use a product that has Mannose it it, and I attribute my healing from lyme to that any many other supplements I took, and still take every day. Try it, it works. -- [ ] bladder infections , Point taken but there hasn't been any sex here for over 10 yrs, thank you LD, wear only cotton panties, why I even had a Dr tell me to put my panties in microwave and cook them, he said it was sure to kill all non washable germs.
