Guest guest
People can look up colestevam and cholestyramine on the web. The latter comes in a can the size of infant formula or pouches. As I read the product instruction insert, it is lengthy with contraindications for young children and pregnant women. This insert is from 2002 when I first attempted it. I made it about 3 months. The WelChol I am tolerating much better. Everyone is different From what I read online about Welchol (from the drug manufacturer, it is a bile sequestrant as well and removes bile acids rather than 'recirculating' them. I am not a doctor - not medical advice. One other note is that it should be taken ( an hour before other meds or 4-6 hours after because it interferes with absorbtion) - this is from the cholestyramine insert. There are serious side effects so medical supervision is vital. Also, my can says orange flavor. I could not find a reference to aspartame. LiveSimply <quackadillian@...> a écrit : Why does that stuff obsess some of you? Seriously, to get these toxins out of your system, you need cholestyramine. The boxes it comes in are already the biggest thing in the pharmacy, if it came with sugar, they would be HUGE and pharmacies would not stock it for lack of room. If they leave the sweetener out, then people have to add their own, not such a big deal to many of us, but its not a one size fits all answer. They dont add it to poison you. I don't have a problem with Nutrasweet in this context. Ive read the science. There is even some science that says it blocks ochratoxin. The mycotoxins that get removed by cholestyramine are some of the most toxic substances known to man. They are listed as potential biological weapons. *Lets keep this in perspective now.* --------------------------------- Ne gardez plus qu'une seule adresse mail !
