The reason it needs to be given at night is because it also helps with

sleep. It lasts during the day and helps with depression and appetite. Is

your MIL not eating well still?

Does your grams take the remeron at night or morning?

The reason I ask is because my MIL is taking it at

night, but I wanted to give it to her in the morning

because of the appetite thing. My home health RN said

no, it should only be given at night. I wonder if

she's right.

She's actually eating much better the last couple of

days. She NEVER had a problem with appetite, just the

opposite in fact, so it looks like she's right back to

normal in that regard.

That's great to hear, . Sometimes it takes a week or two for an

anti-depresssant to kick in. I'm glad it's working well.

Re your other question regarding Sinemet and Seroquel, Sinemet is the drug

used for Parkinson symptoms. And, yes, it possibly can worsen the

hallucinations (depending on the person).
