Guest guest Posted January 21, 2008 Report Share Posted January 21, 2008 Hi Linette here in Michigan. I have a great opportunity and would like some ideas on how to get going with this. Since March 21 is Good Friday and a very religious weekend, I decided to do something to celebrate down syndrome on the weekend of the 15th. Our local country club has donated its facilities for whatever event we decide to put on. My question is what theme should we use? Since we are celebrating our little ones and bringing awareness at the same time, how does a model your favorite jeans sound? Our kids with MS or DS can model their favorite jeans. Maybe one activity could be a jeans fashion show put on by a local store, with models from the group (all wearing jeans like you suggest) designer genes... Makes me wish I had the energy to put one on here, but, to address another thread of this group, in a few weeks I'm celebrating the 40th anniversary of my 29th birthday, so I will merely observe!
