I think that people should not take it personally if individual

Presidential candidates don't respond to them personally right NOW.

Its a VERY busy time for all of them.

Thats not to say that we shouldn't write them (or better yet, try to

get names of STAFFERS and address letters to them.

:)

Quackadillian: I totally disagree, now it the time to burden them with our

questions as a National health and safety issue. If one waits until the election

period is over to " kick ass and take names " one misses the point of what the

pre-election process is all about. It is to find out specifically how each

candidate stands on important issues, and I for one am damn tired of trying to

talk about indoor pathogenic microfungi as if it is a " frickin " secret that

should never be brought up. I do take it literally personal if an elected

Congressman or Senator that is suppose to care about the health and welfare of

the people of her or her state is too busy, or too politically tied into

industry to do anything much about it. Live-celled fungal diseases are much more

difficult to diagnose and treat than most bacterial infections and viral

infections. Fungal diseases are by far factor in to deadly respiratory diseases

than any of their counterparts in the microbial world. Why is it then that

politicians should be exempt from doing something about funding research and

educating medical students/healthcare providers with our tax dollars? I think it

is about time something is said and done... that is why we are bugging them

about it in Washington. When presidential contenders, senators Hillary Clinton

and snubbed their noses at us when we either contacted them

directly or indirectly, which I will relate to you DID happen on more than one

occasion for both, I figure the best and most appropriate place to make them

answerable is while they are asking for our votes. If Hillary or are still

in this year's presidential race by the time they reach California and

Sacramento, that is exactly what I will make ALL attempts to do! Never my

friend, think of ANYONE IN LIFE as anything other than human like you or me. We

are all in this living process called America together, and it each of us that

is here to voice changes that are healthy and safe for all Americans.

Hope that helps you understand my personal feelings better.

God Bless and take care.
