Guest guest
Gladys, Your house is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I agree, lower the asking price. Your house has to be the best house on the market for the price in the buyer's mind. Buyers have to be out there. Determining that price is hard, as I am finding here with my house on the market. Houses here are selling, finding the right price is difficult. I am at my second lowered asking price and we will see what evolves. Good selling luck to us all. , Oakville Ont. Guest guest
Gladys, When my grandfather died he left an empty lot on a golf course. It was for sale for over a year and the price had been lowered several times, but nobody wanted it. My uncle who is a salesman said to raise the price a little. We all thought it was a crazy idea, but the price was raised and it sold shortly after that. I guess people that had been looking at it waiting for the price to go down decided it wasn't going down anymore, so they bought it. You might raising the price and see if there have been some people waiting for it to bottom out. Good luck, in Dallas > > > > Hi Gladys, > > > > > > > > The market is DEAD here too, but we sold our house 1 week ago. > > > > > > > > It's not as dead as you think if there are bargains to be had. drop the > > price a healthy amount, > > > > and see if you get lookers.
