Guest guest
Hi Tami, here's what my mind comes up with: would you also want to talk about it if you knew that they are not interested? .... Philip
Guest guest
Well, we all may appear as if was our guru and we'd belong to some new age cult, maybe that's the truth. But there is history in 's work, Thales was one of the first who said that everything is water. Water has a reflection in it, and reflections can be turned around, so the entire work really started among one of the first philosophers. Than there is the Mayan and Aztecan Black Mirror, where the universe was known to be a black mirror, another turn around cult, very ancient, than there is jesus who says turn around the mirror, LOL; I mean love your next and you love yourself, again a turnaround. There are turnarounds wherever you look, is this enough arguments for number 3?? Nehti tamtheleo wrote: Sometimes, I find myself feeling really uncomfortable talking about the Work with others. Maybe even to the point that I purposely avoid talking about it with some people. My beliefs are if I talk about The Work people... 1) will be turned off by it 2) will think, " there goes Tammy, off on a self-help trip again " 3) will want to challenge/argue/debate with me about it (if you accept what is, you never take action, etc.) 4) won't want to be my friends anymore Number 3 hits home as the truest for me, so I guess this is really about seeking the love and approval of others. I can freely talk about other aspects of my life: work, church, hobbies, but I feel very apprehensive about talking about my interest in the Work with others... A few days ago I told my partner I had joined this group. Afterward, I felt like I had admitted to having an affair! (This was all purely my mind going insane - she had no reaction to the announcement at all). That's just the most extreme example of my self-created discomfort around this subject. Any input is appreciated. --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Search.
