Guest guest Posted January 17, 2008 Report Share Posted January 17, 2008 Ron My mom is on Seroquel at bed, Sinemet low dose (decreasing that was tried first to see if it could be causing the hallucinations) and has been on Namenda since right before the holidays. Doing well, definitely sharper mentally, and even says the " people " are not in the house so much - that more days than not they are just outside - which is a definite improvement for her. She does say she has a " fizzy " feeling in the top of her head some days, so we watch her balance, and we watch her BP as it can drop with the namenda. Other than that we have been very pleased with her response to it. Hope your mom does well too. I am not, and really, 1/2 of the weakest xanax will mellow me right down. My bottle lasts for months. i have given up coffee for the duration of the Lewy ride, as it eats up the lining to my stomach. Caregiving, and more specifically, being the case manager, is a good way to describe those of us who monitor the meds, do the laundry, and clean up the messes. I am here for you!
