AID=/20080114/News01/923281229 SOUTH BEND — There will be a forum Wednesday at which the public can learn how to prevent mold after this past week's flooding. The forum will begin at 7 p.m. at the United Way of St. ph County, 3517 E. Jefferson Blvd. To reserve a seat, members of the public should call the toll-free line 211 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. by Tuesday. Or call (574) 239- 2255. Local professionals will talk about mold prevention and cleanup and how to prepare for floods in the future. There also will be information about social services, and renters can ask questions about what do if their home receives damage. Those assisting with the forum include the St. ph County Health Department, the American Red Cross, the city's Department of Code Enforcement, Purdue ative Extension and the United Way.
