Guest guest
"Does anyone have a better idea, or is Miralax my best bet."Yes, find a new doctor, DO NOT give your 5-year-old 3 capfuls...There are many better ways, but they take time and patience. Call in sick at work (if you work), give your baby magnesium, epsom salt baths, PlumSmart, and coconut oil. Rub his tummy often as it probably hurts, not to mention tummy massages help the stool move. Rub clockwise (the direction of the intestines). After you've found a doctor who will not be such an idiot, work with him or her to stay off Miralax. Once on, always on. Good luck,Tracie 3 capfuls for a 5 yr old???????? That's 51 grams!!!!!!!!! What are these people thinking? ----- Forwarded Message ----To: miralax ; miralax Sent: Wed, December 22, 2010 6:11:49 AMSubject: Re: Clean out question..Hi, just be prepared for a mess...we have done this, and I would hope there are better ways, I just don't know them. We personally don't use miralax anymore, think the product is junk, and feel our son has damage from it.(JUST MY OPINION)Thanks.Quoting 3mphoto : Hi everyone,Just a question from a few who have been there. My 5 year old had a belly x-ray a few weeks ago, and it appears she is all backed up. We have been having issues with belly pain for many months, and the doctor feels if we " Clean " her out, her belly will feel better.Of course....she prescribed Miralax for the clean out, but said I could also use MOM. Does anyone have a better idea, or is Miralax my best bet. The doc said to use 3 cap fulls, and to make sure it is water by the end of the day....and to keep up the Miralax for a week, to keep the stool soft.Any input on how to go about the clean out would be great...Thanks,
