Oh my God...I know you feel desperate to help your child and feel removing part of his colon is the only answer right now, but please, please consider the long term effects of this. Even tho they SAY he will not be affected, he will. I know it's so hard to deal with constipation due to Hirschsprungs, but this is NOT the answer. He may need lifelong intervention with his colon intact but at least he will not have a possible colostomy, scar tissue, possible complications...Things that can be even worse for him in the future.He's going now and he's going well. Maybe consider putting off the surgery for a few more months? See how it is in the spring? If you might've found an answer, keep with it for the long term sake of your child. What a good mom you are - putting him first and doing what is best, but please don't be caught up in surgical neediness - surgeons are paid to cut, even if it's only minimally necessary. Good luck!

Not only does it loosen the stools it is a strong natural antiviral, antifungal/yeast, bacterial killer etc etc. I cant believe the difference in even his skin/appearance, so soft/healthy looking.
