Hi Val,

Just got these lab results...these were taken 24 days after starting

Cytomel (so a little over 3 weeks), and only 3 days after completely

switching out all the Armour (dose: 87.5mcg Cytomel, no Armour, 35mg

HC):

TSH: <.004 (.35-5.5)

Free T4: .86 (.61-1.76)

Free T3: 6.7 (2.3-4.2)

I didn't have the RT3 done at this time (these labs were done by my

endo, who I continue to see for diabetes and try to ignore re:

thyroid).

I am concerned about that high T3...especially considering I will be

increasing my T3 further to try to knock down that T4 number...my

adrenals have been very good (at least according to temp

graphing)...between 98.4 and 98.6 every day for the last week.

There was one day the average was 98.8...but other than that, quite

steady. My T4 still looks high, so I think there's still work to do

there.

What are your thoughts here? I don't feel hyper--not jittery,

nervous, no diarrea...still gaining weight if anything (no loss),

feeling cold now more often than hot (used to be hot all the

time)...though i do have a high pulse (around 110...but that's been

high since going up on Armour a couple of times since January).

Temps are usually lower than 98.6...though a couple of days i had

low morning temps that were balanced out by higher afternoon temps

(so that the daily average was within that 98.4-98.6 range). Should

I just carry on with my increases in T3, keeping careful track of

temps/pulse? I still feel there's MUCH room for improvement on my

hypo symptoms (cholesterol also went up from 165 to 198, despite

being on Lovastatin).

Thanks,

Teressa
