Guest guest
Oh my gosh! I'm sorry I just saw this! Yes, Jeanie I do swear by Plum Smart, 1-8oz glass with dinner along with Bluebonnet Liquid Calcium Magnesium in the morning with breakfast every day. This has helped my dd tremendously to go 2 times a day. I give my dd other supplements as well such as EFA's, B12, Biotin, Vitamin D3, Iron for anemia, & a multi vitamin formulated specifically for Autism Before this she would only go once every 5 days, we have tried Juice Plus but that stopped working after awhile. What might work for one child may not work for another. This is why you have to keep trying different amounts & methods. But most importantly don't go back to MiraLAX!!! HTH, Yvette My Intro and a questionTo: miralax@yahoogroups .comDate: Saturday, March 14, 2009, 2:48 PM Hi there! My son (23 months) is officially off the Miralax now, and we are using prune juice. I have to mix it with blueberry juice and I tell him it's "burp" juice, but it's working. The hardest part is remembering to get him to drink it EVERYDAY, or the constipation comes right back. Miralax caused many problems for us, the same as I see here, and he started taking it to help resolve constipation that was so painful he would cry and scream when he had a BM. I suffered from IBS/Constipation as well, and Miralax helped me but made me feel awful, dehydrating me and causing a whole body feeling of panic and dread, with tingling in my face and limbs, and created a mental fog. That was when I started questioning the use of it, and experiementing with other alternatives, as well as when I found this list. So, my question is- Has anyone else tried/had success with Prune juice? Are there any side effects that anyone is aware of?
