I thought I was going to have a tragic story!

Millie spends inordinate amounts of time when she is in the

bathroom.

She came out of the bathroom this morning and told me she had been

giving my chihuahua a bath. I immediately headed in to rescue my dog.

In the toilet was all of the trash from the wastebasket. I was

frantically scooping up all the refuse afraid that I would find

little Chia dead under all the garbage.

The was an empty toilet paper spool in the toilet, and thought i was

going to have to scoop poop. Thank goodness it was just the cardboard.

No dog in the toilet, no dog even in the bathroom.

I couldn't even be too upset, because the dog was safe.

She hadn't tried to flush all the garbage, so we were okay!

It is cloudy and chilly, actually cold for us, and the wind is

blowing. This is not manatee viewing weather. I am hoping we have

sunshine tomorrow. I want to get my manatee fix before I go back to

school on Tuesday.

So, no poop, and no mantees!

If you were visiting Fort Myers today, you'd not be impressed! You'd

be in your hotel room under the covers, for sure!

Millie had two batches of company today so she is back in bed.

It is just too cold to get in the kayaks, or I would be scouting the

seacows for you guys.
