When discussing healthcare administrative costs refer to all costs that

are administrative in nature. This includes the provider, the insurance

companies and any other costs that exist to administer healthcare in

this country. There are people who believe that if you eliminate these

costs of running the broken healthcare system you would take out costs

that don't add value and more money could be spent on the care of

patients or the cost would simply go away.
