I told you that you would love Dr. Fuchs. He is awesome. Faith had her

untethering in Sept.

Her urologist is Dr. Weiner too she and him have become really good pals. She

has had over 30 surgeries that Dr. Weiner has performed on her alone so we know

him very well. He is great and very well educated. Camille is him PA and

she is AWESOME too. We had to wait a really long time for Urodynamics (sp)

testing too. I think we might of waitng even longer than you have to wait which

is good news for you. We are at Duke atleast once a week so let me know when you

are around and maybe we can meet for coffee.

 

Duke is a great hospital for recovery. You and your husband can stay in the room

with him until he is ready to go home. They have a Mc room for

parents with a kitchen, shower, couch and computers. The nurses are great there.

We have been in just about every room on 5300/5100 (they are the two pediatric

wings of patient rooms). Darcy from Child Life (you will see her oon pre-op and

possibly other time too) she is the best if you see her tell her Faith says hi.

 

Well as you can tell we know Duke rather well so if you have any questions feel

free to ask. We can direct you to things around the hospital (stores, food and

banks).

 

I am glad that you were about to see him. I will keep up on his progress on you

blog.
