Guest guest
Once a month I like to send this reminder... OT - This Board This board is to help you all, not to be a burden. Just remember if things become overwhelming during the care of your LO, here are some helpful thoughts. * If you're getting " Individual Emails " and it becomes too crazy for you - you can always change it to " Digest " (which displays about 25 posts within one email.) * Should life become so stressful that any form of email becomes too much - you can always change it to " No Email " (and then just read the web board itself) * These changes can be made from the web board and clicking " Edit Membership " (OR just ask Donna or and they'll make the change for you.) This way when life settles down and you're ready to receive emails again, you don't need to resubscribe - just change your current membership options. We're here for you. Guest guest
Carol, Ron un-subscribed and I think Sandie is having computer problems. I wish we had just half (as Courage said), of your 86 degree weather. It has been freezing here in MI and we just missed most of a huge storm. But we already have as much snow as we usually have all winter! Loved your pictures of the seacows! They look so friendly. Hugs, Donna R Caregave for Mom (after I brought her from WI to MI) for 3 years and 4th year in a nh. She was almost 89 when she died in '02. No dx other than mine. Re:OT - This Board I can only handle the digest. The individual e-mails were way too overwhelming. If I want to get a sneak peek at what's coming up, I go to " visit your group on the web " . I look forward to seeing what's going on here after I get off work. I haven't seen anything from Ron or Sandie lately. I am green with envy over Emma's trip. Sometimes it urks me that I have to make special arrangements just to go to a Saturday conference for work. I am seeing less and less of Jim's brothers. They aren't even visiting much anymore. We have to beg for coverage. I don't know whether I will get a chance to check on manatees today as I am pretty well exhausted and have a sore throat. We are having such a mild winter, and it is 86 in the house with the windows open. Carol > > , > Thank you so much for the reminder. Guest guest
Courage, I wonder if a few lost power with that last storm that went through. We didn't get the predicted 8-12 inches, we only got 3-4. It was light and lovely to start, then with the rain got real heavy. But Mother Nature can take a breath any time for all I care. We already have our quota of snow for the winter and it isn't half over. Checked out your igloo! What fun! Didn't know it needed all the vents and stuff. A little of the silence, could be I did do a " to do " group message and it has been doing fine for the first time since way before Christmas. Everyone is doing their " new list " for " 08. Mine is very long. And I got in touch with Tori. gave me an address I didn't have. She sends her regards. She is so busy and trying to be a good D-I-L and it isn't working. She also went back to work. It seems to be catching up with her. With Dizz gone, her M-I-L is raising Holy Cain. Seems like she wants some attention. And Tori's 2 days a week aren't hardly getting counted!!! Hope some of the new people who have been approved with join in the conversation?????? Who are you out there and how can we help. Hugs, Donna R Caregave for Mom (after I brought her from WI to MI) for 3 years and 4th year in a nh. She was almost 89 when she died in '02. No dx other than mine. Re: Re:OT - This Board Carol - 86 degrees!!!!!!! Wow, I'll take half! Its actually not so cold here today though we are expecting a lot of freezing rain overnight which should either melt the snow that fell all day Friday or it will turn everything into a skating rink - now I don't regret so much that I hammered all those nails through the bottoms of my boots. Was stuck in the house all day because of the sheer volume of snow but my great consolation is that the bare tree branches are now clothed in the whitest snow that twinkles at night when the street lights come on - just beautiful. The branches are awfully beautiful during the day too. Try as we might, we humans can never surpass the true purity of the whiteness of snow - Mother Nature can be such a show off sometimes! It is just the best kind of packing snow too. If I knew how I swear I'd be out there making an igloo for the neighbourhood kids and my grands. I watched an Inuit family make one once on TV and I was entranced. Wonder if I can't find something on the Internet about thi s. Ok....so where did everybody go???? Its awfully quiet on this list lately. Surely someone else has got something to say...you all don't want to keep reading about me and the snow, do you????? Guest guest
Too bad about Ron leaving us. He definitely had some challenges and could use somebody (or a group of somebodys) to lean on.
