Wow, Steph. Your story is utterly heartbreaking. I am so glad your son is so strong. How is he doing now? Best to both of you -

What is sad and scary about this story...is that this same thing happend to my 9 year old son this last February. His entire body shut down. He was dehydrated from all the Miralax that he was prescribed along with enema's, and 17 cap fulls...you read this correct...17 capfulls of Miralax. We were sent home with this prescription and three days later ended up in the ER with my son who went into cardiac arrest and septic.

After going into cardiac arrest twice, spending the next 3 weeks in the ICU, 4 surgery's and total of 3 months in the hospital. My son survived.
