I was denied repeatedly and finally went before an administrative law judge before I was approved. I think there are several reasons for denial: 1)that is standard proceedure if you're not blind or missing limbs (no offense intended); 2) so little is known about ACM (understatement of the year!); and 3)yes, we are relatively young to be permantely disabled (which only means more than a year - in Soc.Sec. language).
