I can respond from my experience in New York (and I think it applies

elsewhere). If the doctor has requested home health care and your husband

has Medicare, he will only receive a few hours a day for a limited time

(mainly for rehab), if that. In order to get regularly scheduled home

care, YES, he would have to have Medicaid in order for you NOT to pay.

can anyone tell me if you have to be on medicaid to be eligible for home

healthe care. my husband has lbd and only has medicare but his doctor has

requested home health care for him but i was wondering if he has to also be

on medicaid does anyone know. we are in South Carolina

As I have said before, each one of you who need help

at least call Hospice and see if your lo qualifies.

Every hour we get help is to our advantage.
