I have the same probalem with generic estrogen patches. It is so hot

and humid here, I sweat the little lifsavers right off.

Call the manufacturer. You can't be the only one having this problem.

See what happens, and it keeps you pro-active, at the very least.

Gladys,

Does she have oily skin? It may help to alcohol wash the area before you put it

on?

Caregave for Mom (after I brought her from WI to MI) for 3 years and 4th year in

She was almost 89 when she died in '02. No dx other than mine.

We're having trouble getting Mom's patch to stay on securely. This may

explain the recurring visits from her " friends " . Has anyone else had this

problem and, if so, how have you remedied it?

HI Gladys,

We have the same problem with mom's HRT patch. How about the special tape that

nurses use to hold down an IV - (its cloudy white in color and I can't remember

the name)? It sticks to the skin but not like a band aid that is difficult to

take off later?

Not sure if there's a special # for the patch - but it is wise to let

them know about the issues -- you may get free replacement too:
