with yet another question about switching from Armour

I finally got my doctor to give me a prescription for Cytomel. I've been taking 30 mg Armour, and was taking 25 mcg levothyroxine until a few weeks ago when I just stopped it (and I didn't feel any worse for it). RT3 tested very high.

She wants me to start with 5 mcg Cytomel two times a day. I know that is a typical conversion, taking into account normal utilization of T4, but I wonder if that would be too much for me, since I haven't been properly converting T4. On the other hand, I don't want to start too low and end up feeling worse. What should I do?

Thanks,Ellen
