Guest guest
INFORMATION FOR ALL: New medical doctor who is on mold-exposure patients in Mill Valley (CA Bay Area). I have spoken with Dr. Camp, and feel that his value to the studies of Medical Mycology and medical treatment of fungal diseases falls within the range of California Standard Medical Practices. I believe his practice of medicine will be most beneficial to people suffering with symptoms and medical conditions related to fungal exposures. This is good news given the tragedy suffered by mold exposure victims with the sudden death of our most outstanding and beloved patient advocate/and most knowledgeable treating physician, Dr. A. Marinkovich. Camp, MD 125B Camino AltoMill Valley, CA 94941Phone: (415) 383-9903 Hope this helps. And finding out my exposure has been since before 1995. My co-worker and I discovered a huge area of mold behind a cabinet in our small workroom. He reported it and we went about our buisness, not knowing that the toxins produced by MOLD could make you sick. I ended up not being able to cope with the stress of my job which included daily harassment, and going thru a new bosses false accusation of fruad, and also being yelled at, I finally broke down and went to the emergency room with my blood pressure 198/106. I was then referred to the Psych. Dept. where I was told I was Depressed. I told them, well if I am...the whole dept is! that was in may of last year and I finally lost all of my muscle strength in July and became disabled, and not knowing why. I was crying all the time and had had the most unimaginable migraine headaches and acid reflux and vomiting strong acid bile and the nightmares I still have. I was given the diagnoses of Fibromyalgia, and said huh? whats that? so I went looking to see what causes Fibro...and I sat in shock!and cried.. MOLD??? OMG I remembered the MOLD. We Worked in that small room and it took 3 weeks for them to cut that part of the INFECTED wall out. When I called to see if they had done any testing on the MOLD, they said " What MOLD? " .. so I had my co-worker do a tape lift of the floor right below where the mold was and I had it analyzed by an environmental lab. It came back as Chaetomium. Everytime I visit my Dr's all they want to hear is about the Fibromyalgia. So far I have a messed up Thyroid, Asthma, and my hemoglobin was way off, but noone has said anything about it. When I showed my very swollen foot to each one they just shrug their shoulders. I have had kidney pain since I left my job and not one Dr wants to address it. I'm so done with them it's not funny. I'm waiting to hear from Dr. Gray's Office. I'm in So. Calif. and Dr. Gray is in Arizona, 8 hours. I fear I have a conditon called Chromomycosis? I think that how it's spelled? and I've read where just 1 foot is usually involved...but both of my feet and legs look bad, and my left foot feels like i have a rubberband around it all the time :(Honestly I think most Dr's don't know about MOLD and how dangerous it can be and I also think they DON'T WANT TO KNOW!! BIG HUGZZ TO ALL!!>> What has been your course of treatment by your Doctor after being> exposed to toxic mold? It seems that so many Doctors are failing us> when it comes to being treated. Just trying to find out whats working> and whats not as far as treatment. thanks> _________________________________________________________________ Climb to the top of the charts!
