Guest guest Posted January 1, 2008 Report Share Posted January 1, 2008 Hi Carol, I'm trying to remember if Millie is on Hospice...if so, Hospice may be able to provide you with whatever durable medical equipment (wheelchair, bed, etc.) as well as air cushions for the bed, gel cushion for the wheel chair, etc. They may even have those " hats " . I'm not sure what all they have, but it may be worth inquiring. For my dad they also provide the diapers and pay for the meds related to his Hospice qualifying event. I'm not sure if you speak with the nurse or the social worker to line it up.
