Guest guest
When I was exposed to mold spores I became terribly ill. I went from doctor to doctor looking for help. Finally I found an ENT who believed me when I told him I had inhaled potent mold. Of course he could hear me wheeze. He put me an oral anti-fungal medication (Diflucan) mainly because Prednisone hadn't helped in this situation. That's when I first got some relief. Guest guest
pick up a copy of MoldWarriors - Dr. Shoemaker as a protocol using a drug called Cholestyramine which is described there. You can search the back posts about it - a lot of list members have done this. moldwarriors.com ~Haley photoguys2003 <photoguys2003@...> wrote: What has been your course of treatment by your Doctor after being exposed to toxic mold? Guest guest
I have been bounced around now for 7 mos. after becoming ill. And finding out my exposure has been since before 1995. My co-worker and I discovered a huge area of mold behind a cabinet in our small workroom. He reported it and we went about our buisness, not knowing that the toxins produced by MOLD could make you sick. I ended up not being able to cope with the stress of my job which included daily harassment, and going thru a new bosses false accusation of fruad, and also being yelled at, I finally broke down and went to the emergency room with my blood pressure 198/106. I was then referred to the Psych. Dept. where I was told I was Depressed. I told them, well if I am...the whole dept is! that was in may of last year and I finally lost all of my muscle strength in July and became disabled, and not knowing why. I was crying all the time and had had the most unimaginable migraine headaches and acid reflux and vomiting strong acid bile and the nightmares I still have. I was given the diagnoses of Fibromyalgia, and said huh? whats that? so I went looking to see what causes Fibro...and I sat in shock! and cried.. MOLD??? OMG I remembered the MOLD. We Worked in that small room and it took 3 weeks for them to cut that part of the INFECTED wall out. When I called to see if they had done any testing on the MOLD, they said " What MOLD? " .. so I had my co-worker do a tape lift of the floor right below where the mold was and I had it analyzed by an environmental lab. It came back as Chaetomium. Everytime I visit my Dr's all they want to hear is about the Fibromyalgia. So far I have a messed up Thyroid, Asthma, and my hemoglobin was way off, but noone has said anything about it. When I showed my very swollen foot to each one they just shrug their shoulders. I have had kidney pain since I left my job and not one Dr wants to address it. I'm so done with them it's not funny. I'm waiting to hear from Dr. Gray's Office. I'm in So. Calif. and Dr. Gray is in Arizona, 8 hours. I fear I have a conditon called Chromomycosis? I think that how it's spelled? and I've read where just 1 foot is usually involved...but both of my feet and legs look bad, and my left foot feels like i have a rubberband around it all the time Honestly I think most Dr's don't know about MOLD and how dangerous it can be and I also think they DON'T WANT TO KNOW!! BIG HUGZZ TO ALL!! > > What has been your course of treatment by your Doctor after being > exposed to toxic mold? It seems that so many Doctors are failing us > when it comes to being treated. Guest guest
Does Mold Warriors explain how mycotoxins suppressed the immune system in a way a lay person could understand?? > > pick up a copy of MoldWarriors - Dr. Shoemaker as a protocol using a drug called Cholestyramine which is described there.
