Guest guest
I think a lot of people don't realize how much science has changed in the last few years. Many non-corporate sources for research money have dried up. There isn't as much money out there for research important public health issues, especially controversial ones that could impact businesses. It would be interesting to look at what gets funded. Some mold-related research has been funded because they related it to Gulf War illness or homeland security issues. (i.e. fighting terrorism, not making people secure in their homes) Its hard to say. I think a lot of people would study mold related illness if they could. A lot of people do agree that its a major cause of illness that isn't being looked at enough. But the people who decide where the money goes have to feel that way.. whoever they are..
