I think that was the point Jeanie was making. She's wanting to include the links in the report to the FDA but the links are dead or broken. She's asking the original poster to help out. Or, I could be wrong but I think so.

I'm unclear on which files/links aren't working - so I hope the below is

helpful...

Sometimes in Yahoo groups - esp. in the email messages - the links get " broken "

and you need to cut/paste each line of the link - making sure it gets pasted

exactly as written without the additional spaces between lines. Also, I think

certain email programs or operating systems (?) can change certain characters

in some email messages making the link inoperable.

So logging into the group's website and navigating links from there may be

better.

Should get you to the Yahoo Group's website (where you'll need to sign in if not

already) and directly to the files section, under the file called " Ethylene

Glycol Toxicity " - there are four pdf files linked to there & I am able to open

all four from the Yahoo group website.

It should be noted, too, that none of these papers has to do with PEG3350 or

Miralax. There was a time in this group when we were hoping someone whose child

was taking Miralax and having certain symptoms could ask their doctor to test

the child for ethylene glycol toxicity. These four papers were posted to give

information on the ability to test for EG toxicity and for symptoms of EG

toxicity. For parents to see if any of the symptoms and test results while on

Miralax would align with the test results described in these papers for cases of

EG toxicity.

Some parents did have certain blood chemistry panels for their children that may

have had some of the parameters that are also assessed in EG toxicity, so again,

these papers were posted to help look at anything possible that might show the

kids on Miralax have any symptoms/test results that could indicate at least some

of the PEG is being broken down in the body and causing EG, or at least EG-like,

toxicity symptoms, if even on a minor scale.

, I've filled her in on all of that. We want to include this article in our petition to the FDA regarding this issue. Problem: we can't get these articles out of the files section to be able to copy and paste to the petition. Can the owners of these files please help me retrieve them from the files section back into the group's e-mail.
