Hi again, dear Carol, I read your letter and had to respond. I write just

the way I talk, and what is remembered is told. No biggy. But, thank you.

I have the cleaning girl here who is cleaning Papa Don's bedroom. She asked

me what the blue crystals were. UGH! Don put D-Con there, even under his bed,

for mice. We don't have mice. We do put the D-Con in the store room, in case

mice try to come in there to camp for the winter, and Papa forgot where to

put it. But, there is no evidence of mice anywhere. Such as life in Lewyville.

I wish I was able to keep up with all the mail, but can't.

I gather you may live on the Orange River. Crabbing is a lot of fun. Catch

them in clean water, cook them live, and enjoy. If they die they tend to spoil

right away.

One day at the beach I taught Don how to survive on a beach. We caught and

cooked blue crabs in our huge three room tent, with all the windows open

except the one that would blow the fire. You talk about stench! Whew! After

they

were cooked, I packed them down in ice, and took a lot home. I packed 43

pints of them, and put in the freezer. Goooood eatin'.

Also, that day, Coquinas were very heavy on the beach, so I panned a bunch,

and made delicious mild clam chowder.

Alright enough playing with this for one day. Back to more mail.

Love a bunch,

Imogene

Imogene,

How wonderfully you write! You describe so well what many of us see.

Isn't about time for Oprah to do a show on Lewy Body as a public service?

Imagine how many folks have been given a simple ALZ DX and can't figure out

where the symptoms they see are coming from.

I can't imagine going through this without this group.

There will be a whole lot of baby-boomers who willl feel ambushed by this

disease.

With school starting tomorrow, I will not be able to check in. The school

blocks free e-mail, and so I will have to wait until the evenings to check-in.

Imogene, how were your allergies in florida?

We almost moved to the Keys, where allergies are virtually unheard of.

I think your kids will get a pretty good idea of what you are currently

dealing with.

It all looks huge on paper! It all feels huge in person!

Manatee kisses,

Carol
