Hello, is it Alan or Dirk? My apologies for not knowing your name right away.

Thank you for your endearing e-mail, for I admire your courage and fortunate

to have someone with LBD to share and help educate us from a different

perspective.

If you do not mind me asking and you can just let me know if I am being too

nosy, but when were you diagnosed with LBD? How do you feel with your loved

ones and environment around you has changed?

I have to run, but will write to you more later and look forward to getting to

know you better. Thank you again and please let me know if you need anything.

Hugs,

~beth~

beth welcome to our group. We are glad you are here. You will find alot

of selfless caregivers such as yourself with a wealth of information and

experience. Some have been all the way through the process and still selflessly

give of themselves to stay on here with us. There are a few of us such as myself

who actually have the Lewy Body Disease. I will be happy when appropriate to

share my experiences from my perspective as one who is afflicted. Again welcome

hope to hear from you.

Dirk

-Hi Imogene, Thank you for your response. It has been harder the

last several weeks than it has been the last seven years trying to

deal with this LBD. LO has always been fairly easy to deal with

after Dr. put him on Seroquel. I said it was a GOD send for us. I

sure do pray that a prevention or a cure will be found in the near

future for the others to come along behind us. It will be to late

for us. The Dr. said I would have to put LO in NH but I have been

able to keep him home & still work up until this week. I am on FML

from work for now. I do not know if I can help anyone else but I

would be glad to try to see if I could.
