KC: Fungal in question is Fusarium solani,

toxin is: zearalenone (ZEA)

Use: mycoestrogen

Action: similar to sex hormone (chemical body messages)

Herbicides and Pesticides (H & Ps) may have similar activity - remember microbes

and plants create chemicals that are used in the creation of H & Ps to fend

against bacteria, fungi, and viruses in the natural environment. The point of

this statement is that researching deeper other fungal or bacterial toxins may

play a role as well.

Just food for thought, thank you for the article. Orchratoxin A is also famous

for this mycotoxin's disturbances to reproductive cells (i.e., Carcinogens and

Reproductive Toxicants, CA Assembly Bill 2588 (Air Toxic " Hot Spots "

List)/Prop-65 (Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986).

God Bless and take care.

Moines,IA*http://www.kcci.com/family/15270471/detail.htmlToxins in the

environment may disrupt normal development in girls because they act like

hormones such as estrogen, a new study said.According to a team at the

University of Pisa, mycoestrogen, which is produced by a fungus species, may be

directly linked to the early onset of sexual development in young girls.Dr.

Francesco Massart studied girls with early puberty. Six of the 17 girls were

found to have elevated levels of ZEA, the toxins produced by the fungus.

" Although this finding might be incidental, ZEA may be related to (early

puberty) in girls exposed to mycoestrogens, " Massart said. However, the presence

of ZEA pollution could not explain the epidemic in the region, suggesting that

other environmental factors such as herbicides and pesticides may be

involved. The authors also noted that because of its chemical resemblance to some

anabolic growth agents used in animal breeding, ZEA may promote accelerated

growth in exposed children.

This is very interesting information! When I was teaching and years before I

began to have many serious symptoms I had lots of hormonal issues. I thought

I was going crazy and suffered through an early menopause and much more

which was (after reading this) probably all due to the mold!!
