Guest guest
I am thinking about getting corrective eye surgery but am having reservations about the risks and/or complications. I went in for the consultation today and the doctor found that my corneas are thin so I would not be a good candidate for Lasik but I would be able to get the Custom PRK procedure but the risks of infections, scarring and hazing are slightly higher. I am wondering if the mold poisoning in my system will further complicated things? Has anyone here had corrective surgery? Do you think it would be a good idea? Do you think the benefits out way the risks, even with the types of eye problems we tend to have from the mold? I am just tired of all the irritations of having to wear contacts (and I can't wear glasses). Thanks in advance, Dana PS. PRK is Photorefractive Keratectomy. It's the first kind of corrective surgery before they had Lasik.
