Sorry Jeanie, I think that is the nature of the yahoo groups - it's sometimes

easy to read something from a long time before and not even realize it.

We use homeopathy for everything too. Lately, I'm using essential oils for coughs.

Have you tried essential oils? A couple of drops of eucalyptus oil mixed in a carrier oil and rubbed into the bottom of the feet will stop a cough - so great for sleeping through the night. I add thyme oil if it sounds like it's getting deeper into the chest. You could just use Toms of Maine vaporub on the feet too - it's not made of petroleum like Vick's.

We don't do standard OTC cough syrups, instead relying mainly on homeopathic formulas. To the best of my knowledge Chestal by Boiron does not have any PEG. It's what we use and what helped me get through this weeks nasty cold. Obviously it's harder with kids but there are many other possibilities available in your health food store or on line in places like Vitacost.com.
