Guest guest
Hello all, Well just got back from the Doctors. I got my prescription for antibiotics. He gave me amoxicillian this time. I just hope that it works as good as my augmentin which I prefere. He said that they were the same thing. Ok hes the Doctor. I did however;ask about an open script for antibiotics. He said that he cant do that because he needs to monitor me when I feel like this to make sure its not something else and, does not want me to randomly take antibiotics. Well sounded like a pretty reasonable explanation. I am thankful that my insurance did cover the prescription strength Ibuprofin, my poor body has been in agony with all the muscle aches. I can take 6oomg up to 3 times a day. Now maybe I wont be such a mean and nasty person from all the aches. But thanks to all of you for your concern and support while I have been unwell. I really appreciate it beyond all words. I will be getting better now that i have my meds. In good health nyzki
Guest guest
I took my first pill of my antibiotics, and my motrin, Had a good dinner and promptly feel asleep. wow I guess that I was really worn out from the infection. I am feeling some of the tummy upset form the meds. But, other than that I sure feel better knowing that I will be able to finally get over this infection in a few days. The Doctor wanted to put me on a expectorant to ain in getting rid of the gunk, but it is guiafaston or something like that. But that stuff gives me a headache even when I take the recomended dosage. So that was out to the question. And I have found that even some over the counter expectorants such as robitussin makes me high and then I have what feels like a hangover afterwards. I am curious as to what expectorants have you had best results with. I am looking for one that wont cause side affects. in good health nyzki
Guest guest
apparently my Doctor in conclusion must think that iam a complete imbecile when it comes to knowing the difference from bronchitis or pneumonia. Ive had bronchiectasis since i was diagnoised with it at age 26. So, I would not just take antibiotics for something like a headcold. and apparently knowing the symptoms is not good enough either, Since I have not had any medical training. So iam just another idiot patient to him. steamed nyzki
