We are a state employee and as such, we are treated differently. Yes, there

is a choice, but it's up to the department head to make the choice of what

will be offered. Believe me, we checked..... We also recently brought this

up to HR in a recent meeting - same answer > a valid complaint (basically a

terrible way to treat people), but there wasn't anything to be done about it.

We do get paid overtime, but it's money that comes from other budgets, not

UPD.
