Guest guest
I don't have any real knowlege about basements or where Mold doesn't grow... but I was wondering... Mold wouldn't grow on a waxed cement floor would it? The reason I ask is because.. maybe a whole basement could be done. I live in a house that is on a slab concrete foundation, and I had my vinyl kitchen floor removed and had it concrete stamped. The guy came in and spread a thin layer of dark grey concrete out and let it dry for a few hours. He then put down 1/4 inch tape in all shapes of squares, then came back with a bucket of beige concrete and a bucket of a lighter grey. WOW what an artist he was.. every square is different. After it was all dry he lifted the tape and Holy Cow... instant grout lines! All it needed then was ....YIKES...12 coats of wax... He said this kind of application could be done on walls and ceilings also. He said it could be done right over the top of existing tile in a Bathroom. I'm thinking of pulling up my carpet soon and having this done through the rest of the house. Maybe a solid marble pattern with no grout lines. very easy care this is the company I used and I am in no way advertising or conected with them in any way. They just have a cool gallery for diff ideas. http://www.elitecrete.com/photo%20galleries%20of%20decorative% 20concrete,%20acid%20stain,%20flooring%20and%20concrete%20coatings.htm
