Guest guest
After being exposed to toxic mold and the toll it took on my brain, to put it euphemistically, and after working at GNC for 13 years i came up with this " brain formula " for me that seems to help. Its the best things in my experienced opinion on over the counter supplements to help with physical brain matter. This is not meant to " treat " you for toxic mold exposure, only serves to help you. All can be researched and bought at GNC. Safe place to shop when looking for supplements. Please note i no longer work for GNC and i do not own stock in the company, in my experience its just a safe way to shop as far as truth in labeling and what is says one the outside of the bottle is exactly what you get on the inside of it, ofcourse you can buy these supplements at any health food store. Amino Acids: Glutamine and Phenylalanine (these are the only two amino acids that cross the blood brain barrier and go directly into the brain. so much help these two amino acids do for the brain that its too much to list here> please look into it for in-depth info on them. they are safe to take. phenylalanine is the best thing i have taken for focus hands down) Natural Food Supplements: Lecithin (The protective sheaths surrounding the brain are composed of lecithin, and the muscle and nerve cells also contain this essential fatty substance.GNC carries a triple lecithin that is 3x the normal strength) Fish Body Oils for its DHA ( one of the major building blocks of the brain, the omega-3 fatty acid docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is critical for optimal brain health and function at all ages of life. Researchers are now finding that DHA provides brain-boosting benefits in infants and aging adults. recognizing DHA’s crucial role in neurological and visual development in infants, manufacturers are rushing to incorporate DHA into infant formulas and baby foods. this is a great supplement for the developing brain of a fetus and therefor great to take when pregnant) Ginkgo Biloba ( this ancient herb has been reported in scientific journals to increase the supply of oxygen to the heart and brain. This is useful to help with memory and focus) ``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` LiveSimply <quackadillian@...> wrote: This is a very good article.. very much applies to mycotoxins effects on living tissue..esp. brain cells. Guest guest
I was doing some more reading yesterday and I came across work that says that imaging studies suggest that the extra effort required in the brain to send messages through the rewiring around injured areas is probably one of the reasons why why people with demylelinating diseases often suffer life-effecting fatigue. Its one of many hypothesis that are backed up by various experimental findings.. its really a complicated and bewildering subject. However, I think there are clearly things that help, substantially, some of which you pointed out. But I DON'T think there are any magic bullets. I'm not an expert (and I tend to be more optimistic than the real experts, not less, which quite possibly is at least part wishful thinking. Also, TIME is the greatest healer.) Brain injuries are *serious* injuries.
