Guest guest
I ALWAYS get Yeast Infections right after surgery. I call my gyn a couple days prior to surgery and he prescribes me one of those one pill treatments. I take it with my other meds the night before surgery and no infections ************************************************************************ ***************************** Tammy B baltazar@... Windows Messenger - tbscsoccer@... Yeast Infection I had a Yeast infection about 7 days after Surgery. My doctor says its because of all the antibiotics you take. I don't think this is uncommon. Its nothing to worry about. Carol
Guest guest
Dear Sandie, I use Tobi nebs every other month and it usually results in a vaginal yeast infection. I got away with it last time though. What choice do we have? I havent had a vaginal yeast infection in a good 20 years !! So now I'm using myastatin or however you spell it..I've heard plain yogurt is also a good source for treatment..you take plain yogurt w/live cultures only..no sugar ..and dip a tampon into it and insert.. Wish I wouldve know that before I invested in the med.. I have to call my dr tomorrow..I need to know if I should continue treatment w/the ceftin..due to the yeast infection..or not Sandie Never Look Down on SomeoneUnless You're Willing to Help Them Up Delicious ideas to please the pickiest eaters. Guest guest
My dr usually prescribes diflucan. One usually is enough. Guest guest
Dearest Sandie, Have been catching up on 50+ emails backlogged while phone/email out of action. I can’t say how much your story means.... As I have read on, I feel there’s an opening up, a feeling safe to say things mostly never said to others, something really heart-level happening....a collective sense there’s a safety zone. A HUGE, HUGE GIGANTIC THANKYOU. Thanks for opening the door. re Yeast/fungal infx of any kind-they develop b/c of abx use – once the bacteria flora are reduced something fills the void....dear old fungals, usually Candida. It took me a 6-yr trip to get it under control, went from oral (gums peeling), lungs, vag, to skin sores that wouldn’t heal. Now, on abx again, ‘we’ve’ (doc and myself) have decided to try Diflucan 200mg x weekly for 6 wks as preventative. I don’t like the use of more meds, but the years of Candida even less!!! Oh oh, that rock and the hard place! Love your spirit and heart Joy -- -- " Wealth is nothing, position is nothing, fame is nothing. Who you become inside is everything. Guest guest
Any abx have potential to result in ‘yeast’ (fungal) infx. I have attached an article I found, may give you some useful links too Joy
