hi all,

nicely put huh? is it incontinence? or is that the term for not being

able to keep it from coming out? - i have both at different times, but

lately the not being able to urinate has become a pretty big concern

for me.

i know lots and lots of things to try - to help for constipation- the

Other side of the coin - but not being able to urinate-

what can you do to help with that???

- my bladder finally relaxed last night- (after my tons and tons of

muscle relaxant I take to go to sleep and I got the urge in the middle

of the night- peed all over kingdom come - as a result cuz I couldn't

get there fast enough)

thanks a lot,

prism

I wanted to reply to the group to this one, to see if others have the

same problem.

Prism, have you had tethered cord surgery?

I didn't have any bladder problems UNTIL AFTER my tethered cord surgery.

Now I have the same problem; I can't empty my bladder.

My urologist says it is because of nerve damage...and there is nothing

to do to fix it...just hope it gets better with time, but its been over

a year for me. Doc says that the nerves should be 'healed' by now, if

they are going to be...just wondering if there are many others with this...
