Guest guest
I wanted to reply to the group to this one, to see if others have the same problem. Prism, have you had tethered cord surgery? I didn't have any bladder problems UNTIL AFTER my tethered cord surgery. Now I have the same problem; I can't empty my bladder. My urologist says it is because of nerve damage...and there is nothing to do to fix it...just hope it gets better with time, but its been over a year for me. Doc says that the nerves should be 'healed' by now, if they are going to be...just wondering if there are many others with this... prismed2001 wrote: > hi all, > > nicely put huh? is it incontinence? or is that the term for not being > able to keep it from coming out? - i have both at different times, but > lately the not being able to urinate has become a pretty big concern > for me. > > i know lots and lots of things to try - to help for constipation- the > Other side of the coin - but not being able to urinate- > what can you do to help with that??? > - my bladder finally relaxed last night- (after my tons and tons of > muscle relaxant I take to go to sleep and I got the urge in the middle > of the night- peed all over kingdom come - as a result cuz I couldn't > get there fast enough) > thanks a lot, > prism >
