Guest guest
Hi Toni.. Helen's right.. the list is usually on the lighter side during the summer. I have probably averaged being on here once every other week during the summer. Not that I wish to avoid posting.. none of that stuff. Today, I just moved 95% of my stuff to my new address (one house down and across the street, rather convenient move), and will be moved out of my current address after Tuesday. UTC starts three weeks from this upcoming Monday so I have a loose end to tie with that. I am very busy. When UTC starts up, I will be in the graduate school mode (although it is an undergraduate degree). Two years (just like in grad school at KU) but with an average of five classes in undergraduate per semester (compared to three per semester at KU in grad school). I am totally focused and zoned in with my graduation date - May 2014. I know what I need to do and am taking the typical " black and white " Aspie approach in years past to this academic situation. Have a ton of support both at UTC and outside of UTC. Have no doubt that I will be very successful and just looking forward to sitting for the CPA exam a year after my graduation. My personal story is one of the many success stories that makes aspires what it is. I have put the book I have been writing (the intro and first two chapters are done...journaling this upcoming two-year journey which will be the last chapter of the book) to the side for now. During school breaks and the summer next year, I can get more of the book done. As for archives.. there is treasure trove of information, as suggested, including topics that are not covered on here on an ongoing basis. I started on here when this group was at only post #329 (something like that). Obviously, this group has grown a lot since November 2007. > > Hi Toni, > It gets quieter on this list on the summer and during the weekends, but I hope that other NT partners of AS men and women will be able to pop in and say hi to you soon. I don't know if you can access our archives but if you can sift through all the banter there is also a treasure trove of success stories here... > Welcome to ASPIRES! > - Helen >
