>>I do have a treadmill, so

walking on rainy days won't be a problem. I have a little, 8 month old,

West Highland White Terrier, named Missy. I haven't been walking her.

Tomorrow I will go out and begin. Starting with 5 minutes at a time,

sounds doable to me>>

***Westie's rule, Sheila!! Walking one is way fun :-) Can you teach her to

walk on the treadmill for you this winter? - added entertainment, and good

for her too!

Hey, Barb...........I love your sense of humor!!! I will have a talk

with Sheila's Wee Scot Miss; i.e. Missy. About doing the treadmill for

me, I mean. {:-D She has a strong, will and mind of her own, tho. In

fact, we start puppy, pre-school next week!

I see you are a horsewoman! My husband was an avid horseman. We raised

and showed Appaloosa horses, in the mid 70s - early 1980s. When he lost

his vision, we had to sell our stock. I really miss their smell,

noises, and personalities! I even have horse dreams! In them, we are

at horse shows, or buying more stock, etc. I am sure you get your share

of exercise! {:-D
