Guest guest
Wow Marie you have a good memory! Yes, there is an " enhanced " area on my wife's brain stem after her GK. It wasn't there before and will probably not be an issue ( other than affecting her candidacy for an auditory implant). Just another thing to watch. We weren't told she had NF2 ..... only a single auditory tumor....till she was in the frame. If we'd have known she had two auditory tumors and a disease that makes you unable to fight nerve tumors, we'd have probably tried the physical route on #1....which is exactly what we're doing on our kids. FSR would have also been a consideration. But she never had that choice to make. >Date: Sat, 2 Oct 1999 13:13:55 -0400 > >Subject: Re: Physical AN surgeries are not all alike > >Were you not the person who said that your wife's showing " spots " that >indicate the radiation hit good tissue?? How long ago was her radiosurgery? >Did she consider FRS, or was it not available then? marie
