I have had the pleasure of spending time with Josh and Simone in DC

several times speaking in support of Congressman Conyers' mold

legislation and Josh and Simone traveled to Boston a few years back

to testify at a Boston City Council hearing on mold exposure and

illness. I knew Josh has been ill and he just absolutely amazes me

(again and again) with his strength, brains and determination. Josh,

you and your mom are in my thoughts and prayers.

I would have to agree with what you say about Josh and Simone. This

has got to be devastating for both of them. I truly admire both of

them for having the determination, strength and energy to continue

in their research finding a cure for Josh's condition and I'm sure

so many others. I don't mean to be criticial but there is one

statement I do not agree with:

" The campaign failed, but they had learned to persuade, to organize,

to talk their way past receptionists, to ask for what they needed. "

The campaign didn't fail. Any opportunity that we may have to

represent the " mold community " and those that have been affect to

inform our policy makers, should never be considered a failure. This

was the first step and many have followed and the snowball effect is

finally taking hold.

Even though the link between Josh's cancer and mold exposure can

never be proven within a reasonable doubt, there must have been a

triggering mechanism. There isn't a better place to start than with

indoor contaminates. I highly recommend anyone that has experienced

any form of tumors to research this.

I already have briefly for personal reasons. Already I am not

thrilled with what I have learned. They are not sure what the causes

are, but there are symptoms that you need to be aware of.

Honestly my nerves have been shot for the last couple of months, I

believe for good reason, because my wife Sharon has 5 tumors (lumps,

nodules or anything else you would like to call them.) If I remember

correctly and please don't quote me word for word, chordoma seems to

be a type of bone cancer and the tumor adheres to the bone. It is

mainly located at the base or the top of the spine, but has been

located in other areas. All of my wife's tumors seem to be on the

bone, so yes at this moment I am thinking the worse.

We had an appointment today to see a physician that graciously

worked with us in the very beginning, but is regulated by hospital

restrictions/regulations. We were denied access to the doctor

because of policy and I can not speak of any details. So here we

are, wondering, what if...

Hi-you don't know me but I just wanted to say that I

am sorry you and your wife are going through this. I

have the deepest compassion for you both. I'll

include you in my healing prayers.
