Guest guest
I think that research that applies to recovery after a stroke often also applies to other brain injuries. For example, many studies have shown that inflammation in various forms, such as from mycotoxins causes brain hypoperfusion which can eventually cause lesions in the brain. I used to listen to music quite a bit but when I got sick, stopped because I didn't have the energy to seek it out and deal with it. I am still sick but now after reading this I am going to make a conscious effort to start listening again. Music listening enhances cognitive recovery and mood after middle cerebral artery stroke http://brain.oxfordjournals.org/cgi/reprint/awn013v1
