ncc /irony of doctors advice

life has its irony within medicine . ive been seeing doctors at a pain clinic

for a year now , at least once a month . i was sent there by my ms doctor

,when i inquired about neurontin ......they helped guide finding the right

dose , and have done nothing else of use ( sent me back to nsg when things

got worse , he says work with them except the headaches ) .... i just bounce

from them to another doctor back to them ect .

got really bent out of shape with them last week , ( the doctor and i were a

bad combo .....i got emotional , he got emotionally abusive in responce

......got really disfuctional so i asked for patient relations intervention. )

one of his conditions to my contiuned treatment was going to a therpaist for

" chronic pain coping skill eval " .......i did so yesterday , with a

wonderful licienced psycholgist id found and already seen once , then been

fighting for authorisation to see again ......he says FIRE the pain doctor ,

hahahaha !

done this once before with a doctor , twas really fun , ( got stuck inpatient

in the hosptial for a week cause he had been listed as my attending

/admitting doctor , and had already told me he wouldnt see me if i went for a

second opinion , ....firing a doctor while your in the hospital isnt a good

idea !!) or maybe it is , got me out of the local ignorant loup , and on to

specialsts ect ......

so im still laughing now .....dont think ill need to fire him actually ,

patient relations is working on helping resolve my impass with this doctor

,the clinic headnurse validated to them this doctor cant handle emotional

patients at all , and they have already asked i be reasigned to a different

doctor there if possible , and a true case confrence be held to help get some

agreement on whats needed next .

so ....on to the future now .....whew , glad this ones getting sorted out

......
