State High Risk Insurance Pools: Info

I just found this list of state high risk insurance pools. Some of them are

affordable, some are very expensive, but all offer coverage to people with

pre-existing conditions who may have been denied coverage elsewhere, if they

are able to pay the premiums.

In general, these pools are expensive, and in those states, many people

probably can't afford them, but at least some people with illnesses can get

insurance through them.

trouble buying individual health insurance because of their health.

Eligibility for these programs varies, as do premiums and covered benefits.
