Guest guest
Hi Everyone I had my app't with my new Specialist on Thursday morning & I was TOTALLY impressed. I started out having another Pulmonary Breathing Test & the Dr. said she was thrilled with my results. Initially, she is feeling that it is not my Bronch that is causing me so much distress. She said that she is tending to lean in the direction of Chronic Bronchietis but because I have not responded to any of the medications specifically the steriods (which generally respond well) I did not improve at all with 4 consecutive treatments of the steriods. She prescribed Spiriva and Flonase which is the first time I'm using either of these. I go back to see her at the end of the month and I'm going to have a test in the hospital that starts with M but she told me not to use the Spiriva that day of the testing (I think this test has something to do with Asthma) I can't remember what she called it. Next I will be having a bronchoscopy as she said there is a bacteria somewhere inside of me that so far has not been detected.(she wants to go in and take a several samples plus do a flushing)...I really liked this Dr. at least she wants to find out what I have and treat it. This is just my second day on the medication and there is less mucous still a strong heavy barking cough. I hope everyone is Well and enjoying the Season.
