I have just one question. Do birds get pregnant? Until now I thought that

they just laid eggs! Pregnancy is the domain of mammals.

Absolutely. Birds don't get pregnant. The egg is fertilized inside the body

but develops outside the body.

Female birds lay eggs due to hormones, they don't need a male for it. The

male is needed just for the fertilization. However they can also have sex

without producing, just for fun ;-) :-P

In those days, thousands of years ago,anything could happen.Perhaps the birds of

yore have evolved to the present day egg laying ones, having found flying a bit

difficult when pregnant. Me thinks, if the totas can speak like humans, perhaps
