Do you know what the single greatest reason is why there are so few females

of marriageable age in India?

If you guessed Ultrasonography, then you would be wrong. Agreed that Doctors

are doing sex determination at the behest of patients and then committing

the gross act of female foeticide. But that is NOT the main reason why the

female population is decreasing.

If you saw Aamir Khan on TV last Sunday, you will know that we are losing

females so fast because we are not singing enough sad songs against it. But

the main reason for that increase in female foeticide is that we are not

sending enough applications to the Health minister, or is it the Prime

minister? If only we had sent the required application signed by Aamir Khan

and co signed by all of us, we would have had 3 females to every single

male. (Oh Wow! Quick! Get that application!)

But I am floating a parallel application. This will be addressed to all the

Hindi Film Industry. It will say:

Dear Hindi film Industry people, Is it fair? Here in Alawar in Rajasthan,

all is war! We don't want Rajasthan, we want Ranistan. We have such few

women around here that our schools have cent per cent attendance one month a

year, when Masterniji comes to teach, and she is rotated in all 10 of our

district schools. (Holidays about 2 months: so we get her only for one

month!) Now while we are not even eating bread, you guys are eating cake. I

mean look at everybody. Shekhar Kapoor, Pankaj Kapoor, Boney Kapoor all more

than one wife. Not restricted to the Kapoors, we have Naseeruddin Shah,

Dharmendra, . oh the list could get endless. Oh and I forgot! Even Aamir

Khan! And if not wives then a few affairs! Some nice females like Rekha and

Parveen remained unavailable due to one man.

So please, please, restrict yourselves to only one lady, so that the rest of

us can have some more females.
