Guest guest
Hello, Decadron is used as an anti-inflammatory or immunosuppressive agent. It is used for treatment of cerebral edema because of its excellent ability to penetrate the CNS. Decadron is about 20—30 times more potent than hydrocortisone and 5—7 times more potent than prednisone and is considered a type of steroid. It is in the glucocorticoids class. It is one of the longest acting corticosteroids available. Glucocorticoids are naturally occurring hormones from the adrenal gland that prevent or suppress inflammation and immune responses. They can also be made in a lab. Hope this helped. Take care, Lucy I'm back and need answers Hi guys, Hopefully I have my computer probles fixed. I just signed back up and wanted you all to know how much i missed all of you. I have been having baaaaddd headaches for 3 days and counting. I have a question for you. Do you know whether there is any reason that a drug like decadron would help with csf buildup? Does it work similar to prednisone by reducing swelling?
