PEG depletes, potassium, magnesium, electrolytes, water, calcium................look it up, it's all there, comforting to know that our medical professionals couldn't give you an answer http://www.medicinenet.com/polyethylene_glycol_peg_3350-oral/article.htm read the fda adverse reactions, they're there by the hundreds....................hypcalcemia low calcium hyponatremia low electrolytes hypocalemia low potassium hypomagnesia low magnesium The pain is associated with the calcium oxalate crystals created by PEG.............there is a low oxalate diet board where they eliminate oxalate in the body and experience the same symptoms while dumping, they call it. See article below to see how calcium oxalate crystals are created by PEG www.ntuh.gov.tw-PMR-Lists-List14-Attachments-164-10253009-200903-37-1-45-50-a.pdfJust in case they didn't tell you this either, PEG is a liquid plastic made from anti-freeze....................poly (ethylene glycol) EG is antifreeze Jeanie To: miralax Sent: Sun, November 27, 2011 12:29:03 PMSubject: Re: who is off miralax but struggling After having the stuff often my heart would race a bit, I think it's connected althogh I do have a heart rhythm issues so hard to say 100% I always woke up with pain and sweating too.
